Job Title:
Sr. Process Engineer
Site/Location:Shanghai, China
Department: Commercial
Reports to: China Production Manager

Section 1: Position Summary

Provide technical support and project leadership to XX production line at China supplier facility.
Will lead all activities relative to product transfer, NPI, process definition, process change, production capacity, equipment and assembly lines qualifications and improvements.
Manage day to day production support, product followup and problem solving, as well as developing the vision of manufacturing continuous improvement.
Introduce new project and setup production line to China supplier facility from XX sites. Identifies and analyzes quality performance measurements; reports results and makes recommendations for improvement. Identifies and analyzes quality problems and look for root cause solutions and implementations.
Will work closely with XX Engineering department globally.

30% ? Actively assist supplier during industrialization/Transition phase of new projects in collaboration with Engineering department. (Tooling, fixture, tester and line set up / Assy line management)
? Training to supplier engineers
40% ? Challenge and help supplier in continuous improvement of manufacturing environment.
? Technical leadership for the line - promote Quality, Safety and Efficiency among the team members
? Diagnostic of production & customer failures, data analysis,
10% ? Being a leader in all process changes.
? Provide support on PCN/TCN implementation, engineering pilot and other supplier if needed.

Experimented in Lean Methodology
Ability to access information using automated systems (e.g., windows based computer); experience with spreadsheets (Excel preferred) and word processing (Word preferred);
Ability to coordination of Pilot Runs, Process Deviations, Re-Works, PCN Implementations
General electronics and software expert with good knowledge in Mechanical. Able to read circuit diagram and review mechanical drawings.
Good computer skill, setup tester software and manage/optimize testing procedure
