职位描述
Position Profile
? Evaluating drawings and engineering requirements, identifying sourcing opportunities.
? Initiating, developing and implementing the commodity strategies, tools and action plans to support corporate/company targets.
? Leading sourcing efforts for assigned teams to local and global sourcing approval. Supporting and strengthening the joint sourcing with other teams bundling and leveraging.
? Giving strategic directions based on engineering evaluation, cost modeling, cost drivers identification, best sourcing solution, risks and opportunities/awards.
? Monitoring and implementation of key productivity projects for localization at commodity level. Introducing new suppliers from low cost countries as required.
? Negotiating and reviewing the purchasing agreement and/or contract, and developing regional commodity business over time and benchmark.
? Reducing Direct Material Cost for the assigned commodities (machining and sub-assembly components such as coils).
Candidate Profile
? Bachelor degree in Engineering/Technology/Commercial subject.
? Fluency in English and good interpretation of mechanical blue print or G D&T is a must.
? Minimum 7 years in a responsible position within purchasing or experience in a relevant function.
? OEM or JV experience is a must. Familiar with aftermarket, knowledge of export business.
? Solid network and experience dealing with major automotive suppliers in China.
? Proven track record in driving cost reductions is a must.
