Job Title: Import & Export Specialist
Job Function: China Operations


Job Summary

A Import & Export Specialist needs to take full responsibility of handling Import & Export relevant business with an effective & efficient attitude to support the Operations Manager on daily operations. The position holder needs to have good knowledge of Import & Export process, and with a can-do attitude in doing operational works. A Import & Export Specialist must be reliable, honest, supportive and detailed, to assist the Operations Manager.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities

· Apply for establishing handbook and control their use for importing and exporting to ensure the in-time-supply of import materials.
· Make import and export duty-bound plan to minimize import duty cost.
· Prepare import/export contract, import material consumption sheet and other relative document for customs handbook. · Booklet offset on time.
· Follow up new regulation and use it in improvement action.
· Coordinate between customs & other government bureau as a contact window.
· Apply for the related certificate from government bureau.
· Categorize and archive all handbook related documents.
· Do the “shipping” operations in SAP system and assist warehouse to arrange delivery.


Expected Areas of Competence (i.e. KSAs)

· Fluent in both written and spoken English and Mandarin, with some basic knowledge on Import & Export.
· Professional PC skills for Excel, Word, PPT and Photoshop etc.
· Resultdriven, with high business ethics andvalues.
· Strong in influencing and problem solving skills.
· Strong learning ability.

Education/ Experience Requirements

· Bachelor degree preferred in Trading or International Business
· Frequent travel in required, 20% up timing in the fields
· SAP is plus
