Job Responsibilities

• Manage complex, demanding and high-value client relationships with major international companies.

• Develop new consulting business, including opportunity identification, client relationship building, proposal development, commercial negotiation & high quality project execution.

• Lead EHS and business risk management assessment and due diligence assessments of industrial and commercial facilities.

• Identify and quantify exposures and risks and coordinate appropriate responses through a defined assessment process.

• Determine the adequacy and effectiveness of an organization's EHS Management System, including management and technical resources.

• Develop and evaluate management systems, including information and data management.

• Evaluate findings, make recommendations, and prepare written and verbal reports.

• Present findings to senior non-technical management representatives to inform business decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in earth sciences, chemistry, engineering or related disciplines.

• Professional qualifications relating to environmental auditing and environmental management systems (e.g. CPEA, MIEMA, C Env, RABQSA, ISO14001 auditor)

• Professional Occupational Health and Safety Qualifications and familiarity with OHSAS18001 considered an advantage.

• Experience in the electronics sector preferable, as is a specialization in industrial hygiene and electrical safety.

• At least 8 years EHS working experience, gained in-house or as a consultant.

• Experience in working with major international companies to ensure EHS compliance with corporate best practices and Chinese and international EHS laws and regulations.

• Expert understanding and application of EHS management principles, compliance auditing and assessment programs.

• Good computer skills and experience with commonly used EHS software tools.

• Language skills: fluent English & Chinese both in written & verbal.
