A global leading luxury brand is currently looking to recruit an experienced Merchandising Manager to join their China team; working within their ladies' fashion division.
Work closely with Merchandising Director who looks after all categories and assist with the development of the responsible category , ensuring that the range delivered both meets and exceeds the needs of the customer, in order to maximise sales and increase market share. Regular travel to global buying week to ensure that the buying & merchandising strategy is achieved, creating a range plan which both optimises space and maximises sales and profit, regularly reviewing existing and identifying potential product ranges, overseeing the flow of stock and availability across the business, managing the OTB planning and merchandise selection your category; conducting product training to front-line staffs if necessary; managing a small team of Merchandisers.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate must be degree holder. Minimum 8 years' experience luxury/fashion merchandising experience. Be confident when working within a fast moving and volume driven environment.Be confident working towards set KPIs and tight deadlines. Be highly experienced when possessing a good understanding of managing the OTB. Be an analytical character with the ability to handle large amounts of data with ease. Possess a commercial mindset, with knowledge of the latest trends and overall fashion market. Good understanding of China market and customers. Proficient language skills in Mandarin and English. Willing to travel on a regular basis.
