Discipline:
Building engineering: MEP, Facades or Structures or other building engineering related discipline
Location:
Based in Beijing but with travel for business.
Job Purpose:
Our building engineering team covers MEP, Facades, Structures, Building Physics and LEED and we are developing a strong BIM delivery team. We have grown a strong building engineering and infrastructure master planning team in Shanghai but now need to develop our capability in our head office in Beijing.
The role will be focused on developing business primarily in the North of China, particularly, but not at all limited to, Tianjin and Beijing. You will help to grow a team in Beijing that will be integrated with our Shanghai team and will work with other colleagues in transportation, water, environment and project management on multi-disciplinary projects and opportunities.
Our work is focused on commercial developments in China.
An ambitious and self motivated person would suit this role well.

Position Requirements:
Have thorough understanding of the building engineering design process in China.
Have extensive knowledge of engineering consultant role.
Competent in reporting, planning, budget control and business development.
Candidate Specification;
Bachelor degree with +8 years experience in design projects.
At least 8 years' management experience in commercial (hotel) and/or industrial projects.
Experience in foreign engineering consulting company preferred.
Strong willing and good skills in doing business development, including marketing through various channels, finding projects through various sources.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
Good English skills in both writing and speaking.
Team player, professional ethics, self-drive.
