Job Duties:
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for all sales related activities to expand the R&D service business in the automotive, medical devices and machinery sectors in China. The main objective of the Sales Engineer will be to generate new sales leads, identify potential customers, account management and manage the entire sales cycle to ensure contracts are signed in a timely manner. The role will report to the Sales Manager.

Key tasks:

· Support and execute the new R&D sales strategy with initial focus on the automotive sector

· Actively generate new sales leads, identify potential customers and secure new sales opportunities Coordinate and communicate sales activities with the GM and Sales Manager

· Prepare sales and customer reports, updates on promotional efforts and monthly sales activity plans

Requirements:

· University degree holder in Engineering, Business, Marketing or related discipline· At least 3 years solid experience in sales in China, preferably in automotive, medical or machinery sectors

· Proven experience in building a new customer base and solution or service sales in China

· Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin

· Knowledgeable in various R&D software tools
