Responsibilities:
· Responsible for stock investment and making recommendation on the deployment of the stock to meet the customer service objectives for the Industrial Business Unit
· Handle the whole ordering process with Sales Team and Customers from preparing quotations, purchase orders and sales orders, as well as the customs documentation, shipping documentation & L/C negotiation
· Closely follow up the shipment status and ensure the packaging requirements are carried out timely by suppliers
· Manage for the planning of material requirements by part number to achieve both stock and customer service objectives through forecasting demand, setting safety stocks, calculating policy stocks, setting EOQs and managing forward orders
· Maximize and continuously improve forecast accuracy through effective operation of the planning system and thoroughly actively communicating and coordinating with the sales team
· Responsible for the identification, redeployment and disposal of excess stock in all warehouses with appropriate financial/business authorization
· Generate reports and performance measures in terms of inventory availability, stock turnover, on-time supply, to support business decision making and management reporting

Requirements
· Bachelor degree in Statistics, Economics, Logistics or related disciplines
· Minimum 5 years of solid experience in demand planning, material planning, procurement and inventory optimization, preferably in trading industry
· Hands on experience in daily logistics and supply chain operations
· Qualification of CPIM is a definite advantage
· Hands-on experience in ERP, such as Oracle, SAP, Baan or equivalent
· Ability to communicate and coordinate with different parties in a cross-functional environment
· Initiative, responsible and able to work under pressure
· Sound planning, organizing, analyzing and data processing skills
· Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
· Good knowledge and skills in MS Office, Excel, planning and reporting tools
