职位描述
BASIC FUNCTIONS
1. Provides overall policy and procedural direction to Operation’s manufacturing and facilities maintenance operations;
2. Assures that effective Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) policies and practices are uniformly implemented and effective in all Haworth AP operations;
3. Manages facilities overall cost reductions, budget compliance, preventive maintenance and repair activities. Champions member programs;
4. Adheres to Haworth’s principles and follows corporate strategic direction in terms of cost management, goal setting, member relations, customer satisfaction, quality systems deployment, and other directives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Provides regional leadership to operation’s staff regarding TPM and facilities management activities;
2. Ensures AP crib inventories are managed in a cost effective method by reducing lead times to reduce stocking requirements, identifying duplicate crib inventories and executing cost effective sourcing;
3. Ensures each manufacturing plant has appropriate policies and procedures in place to assure high manufacturing process reliability and performance. Conducts audits of maintenance processes and facility condition to ensure compliance to local codes and Haworth procedures;
4. Ensures individual and team participation in company programs and policies. Leads and supports cross-functional team programs such as 5S, Safety, etc.
5. Communicates activities and results on regular basis to senior management;
6. Prepares annual financial budget, approves payments, evaluates periodic labor and expense statements, and implements appropriate cost control activities;
7. Adheres to quality systems by maintaining compliance to International Standards Organization (ISO) 9001 and internal Haworth standards on product and process quality;
8. Ensures effective training on maintenance methods, standards, safety, and other control processes to all members, as necessary;
9. Leads and supports communications and team-based activities, such as TPM, Quality Improvement Process (QIP), and Corrective Action Teams (CATs);
10. Interviews and selects new members in key positions; administers member programs and policies, including disciplinary actions up to and including termination of employment;
11. Coordinates support requirements for Information Services (IS), Accounting, Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Tooling, and others, with applicable Haworth departments;
12. Develop local service supplier bases for maintenance goods and services;
13. Leads environmental programs. Assures all environmental requirements are identified and ensures operations compliance. Stays current with Haworth and state regulations to proactively plan assure compliance. Manage waste treatment and disposal programs.
14. Monitors utility consumption, capacity and leads utility conservation program. Ensures most effective cost and service utility structure is in place;
15. Develops relationships and communicates with external organizations such as power supplier, fire officer to make daily operations move smoothly and safely. Addresses code and compliance audit citing or violations;
16. Recommends repair or replacement of equipment, tooling, and machinery. Recommends, justify, and purchase departmental equipment and tools.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelors degree in business or technical field or equivalent;
2. Six years manufacturing experience, including three years managing maintenance in TPM environment;
3. Line and staff experience required, with demonstrated history of improving operating results in each role;
4. Excellent interpersonal and bilingual communications skills, both written and verbal, required.
