Job title:Quality Engineer

Main purpose of the job:
1. Work as quality engineer with Daimler Group or its subsidiary in China
Key responsibility/task
1. Understand the quality management system of Daimler Group
2. Implement the quality management standards in locatization projects of Daimler
3. Prepare and participate in supplier qualification / audit
4. Support supplier development and work with suppliers, and if necessary with tier-n suppliers; support problem resolution activity at the supplier when quality issues arise
5. Planning, co-ordination and execution of processes audits
6. Issuance of the audit report. Based on audit findings, controlling of necessary improvement measures and appropriate implementation, as well as the effectiveness measuring of corrective actions
7. Coordinate with other functions (e.g. logistics, purchasing, PMO) in various localization projects
8. Report to client supervisors

Qualification and experience:
1. University degree or above
2. Minimum 2 years working experience in quality management preferably in automotive industry
3. Deep knowledge about quality management standards, tools and methods
4. Familiar with quality management standards such as ISO/TS16949, VDA 6.3
5. Strong communication skills and problem-solving skills
6. Good team spirit, self-motivation and multi-cultural capabilities
7. Willingness to travel and work on customer site


Education:
Background in Quality or Engineering

Language:
Fluent Chinese and English, German is plus

Additional Capability:
1. Proficient in Windows, MS Office Applications and Internet, etc.
