Roles and Responsibilities:

The role of an Associate Creative is to associate, to create and to direct.

"Create" wise:
Lead the creative process by identifying challenges for clients, setting business and creative strategy, leading the team to generate, unpack and visualize innovative ideas, writing compelling proposals and presenting our ideas to clients. Working with the account, creative and production team, ensure the delivery of superior creative solutions that bring the experiential platform to life, drive client results, meet their budget requirements, and meet Jack Morton s financial targets.

During a pitch process- you will work together with the account lead to interpret client's brief and their business challenges, develop creative strategy and innovative solutions to solve client's marketing and communication challenges. You will then lead (or support the Creative Director to lead) the team to develop the creative idea, making sure that both the content and the context of the brand experience are on-brand and inspirational to clients and audience.

During the delivery of a project, you will remain involved in production to ensure creative integrity, be a creative resource to the team as client needs or budgets change, and further develop the relationship with clients.

"Direct" wise:
Together with the Creative Director, you will drive and push the Ideas-led culture at Jack Morton. Nurture young talents and foster the idea-sharing environment in your team and across all departments.

You are expected to understand, utilize, teach and champion (and improve) processes and tools that facilitate productive creative development. You will stay abreast of cultural events and trends that affect our clients' audiences.

"Associate" wise:
You will support the Creative Director (a non-Chinese person) by bringing in local insights on clients, target audience and the market. Be the bridge between international visions and local platform. When supporting the Creative Director on projects, you will assist him/her on shaping the ideas and writing the proposals and other relevant content. You will also support the Creative Director by driving the Ideas-led culture and nurturing junior team members.

Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in a relevant field; MA preferred but not required

A minimum of 3 years of creative experience in an agency or marketing environment

Native Mandarin Speaker, fluent in English (Native English speakers with native-level Chinese in both speaking and writing will be considered too)

Superior writing skills in Chinese (MUST) and English with proven experience with message development and writing in different mediums (i.e. powerpoint, speeches, video, proposals, etc.)

Excellent creative and artistic presentation skills

Great communication skills

Strong in depth knowledge of brand positioning and industry trends, including digital; strong understanding of how projects fit into the client s business and brand position

Strong understanding of technology and technology trends

Must possess excellent time management skills and have a sense of urgency; proven ability to work on multiple projects at any given time

Demonstrated creative competencies:
Client focus, accountability for results, organizational sophistication, ingenuity and communicating ideas
