Title:Region Account Manager
Location: Shanghai, China
Job Summary
Account manager maximize the sales of company’s products and helps the commercial success in embedded industries in China market. AM is also involved with identifying new markets and business opportunities. He/she is responsible for achieving his/her assigned quota with increasing and developing sales in his/ her assigned territories or industries.
Reporting line: Site Manager of East China
Responsibilities
Maintaining customers and cultivating new customers based on the company’s strategy and value
Planning and meeting sales targets by improving the company’s activities for assigned customers
Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and emails;
Visiting potential customers to prospect for new business;
Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales;
Gathering market and customer information;
Negotiating variations in price, delivery and specifications with managers;
Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions;
Recording sales and order information and sending copies to sales back office;
Reviewing own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets;
Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements and making aggressive proposals to clear issues of the customers;
Making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations
Developing forecasts and reporting activities to management regularly
Building up and improving account relationship from "in-charge" level to "Management level"
Communicating with the company related members and working positively from team work perspective
Key Success Factors
Develop account strategy and business plan, including account planning and sales forecasting
Maintain 100% customer satisfaction in all assigned accounts
Leverage Field Engineering and other internal resources to execute strategy
Provide accurate and factual information regarding customer product feedback to our company’s marketing and engineering
Understand the strengths and weakness of competitor products
Ability to well value matching with customer’s requirement
Ability to create account strategy, manage and execute business with minimal supervision
Ability to manage assigned account strategy, manage and execute business with minimal supervision
Self-disciplined, proof of good teamwork and initiative
Ability to utilize & drive resource around to maximize output
Requirements
Good command of both English and Chinese (Speaking, Writing, Reading and Listening)
Minimum 3 years experience selling software deals in OS/SW field in Hi-tech/IT industry
Knowledge / Experience like below fields are strong plus;
Sales/Marketing in Semiconductor like16/32bit CPU, SoC, Peripherals chip
Sales/Marketing in Embedded software/tool, especially for Tron/Linux segment
Sales/Marketing in Embedded Hardware/tool market like ICE/Emulator, Board
Sales/Marketing in Enterprise Linux market
HW knowledge is preferable
Network or Auto markets selling background is preferable
Proven track record of increasing deal size
Microsoft Power Point Skill to create / utilize convincible proposal to customers.
