Title:UX Designer Search Experience
Overview
The Search team is seeking a talented and passionate user experience designer to join our growing team. This designer will have a significant impact on our business as they take a leadership role in setting the design direction for our company and designing experiences for company's ever-growing worldwide customer base, with a focus on China and Japan. The designer will work collaboratively with engineers, product managers, executives, and other designers, driving design throughout the planning and development lifecycle.
Basic Qualifications:
· At least 4 years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, user interface designer, information architect, or similar role.
· An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating related experience
· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
· Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs.
· Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and design, as well as strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques.
· Visual design expertise demonstrated through mockups and style guides.
· Experience with schedule management.
· Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.
· Proficiency in a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Visio, and Dreamweaver.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Fluency in English, both written and verbal
