Marine Exhaust Treatment System CFD Engineer

JOB SUMMARY

CFD modeling plays important role in the development of Automobile Exhaust treatment system. Only three engineers support all the Pcar and CVS development projects in TCTC. Another more CFD engineer is requested for mainly supporting the Marine exhaust system development.

Major Responsibilities

1.Conduct CFD analysis for automotive exhaust system in terms of flow distribution and temperature distribution.

2.Create and analyze CFD models consistent with product use environment.

3.Generate technical reports and present to internal and external customers.

4.Verify (Correlate) simulation results with testing. Demonstrate agreement of simulation with actual measurement.

5.Support Product Development Cycle and APQP (DFMEA, etc.)

6.Be involved in the development process of marine exhaust system, apart from CFD work. Participate in the development of improved design guidelines consistent with customer requirements.

7.Apply engineering and problem solving methods and tools (FMEAs, 8ds, stress analysis) in resolving engineering design problems.

8.Perform appropriate level of CAD function to develop design concept.

Work Experience

1.Min 2 year experience of CFD.

2.Prior experience with engine development and automotive exhaust product development strongly preferred.

3.Experience using the following tools also preferred: Fluent, ICEM-CFD

Education/Certification

Master Degree in Fluid Dynamics, Thermo Physics or Thermo Engineering or related field; Ph.D Degree a plus.

Specialised Skills/Knowledge

Grasp CFD related softwares such as ICEMCFD is a must and STAR-CD, CATIA is preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills both in English and Chinese are required.
