Part 1 Describe the Position

Summary

l Logistics management of the outbound cargo delivery from plants to the customer sites to ensure on time in full delivery;

l Managing the goods in transit stock to ensure the cargo safety;

l Manage the third party logistics (3PL) service provider to ensure the service rendered meets the KPI;

l Collaborate with plant and factories to improve the delivery performance;

l Control the logistics costs;

A) List the essential functions and major activities in order of their importance

l Manage the outbound delivers from plants/subcontractors to the customer sites by coordinating with plant logistics, 3PL and the customers;

l Manage the cargo in transit to ensure the on time in full deliveries; coordinate with plants/subcontractors on cargo pickup, confirming delivery plan and unloading.

l Manage the cargo stored in 3PL warehouse by leading the stock take to ensure cargo safety and inventory accuracy;

l Lead the transportation management to ensure 3PL meet the KPI for on-time delivery, cargo damage and proof of delivery (POD) return;

l Conduct freight check and lead the performance review/continuous improvement by 3PL;

l Recognize the sales on system against POD;

l Accommodate customer complaint on the cargo damage and other service issues, provide corrective and preventive action by working with related parties;

l Support the selection and training of the 3PL.

A) Minimum professional and educational background sired (include years of experience)

l Education: College Degree, in logistics, business, accounting and/or other related functions;

l Experience: Minimum 3 years in relevant area

l Excellent PC skills including, but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
