职位描述
SUMMARY
Accountable for identifying, developing and maintaining marketing strategy for D-R’s business in China, including New Equipment and services
Accountable for identifying and developing business opportunities in Compressed Air Energy Storage (CAES) market and other applications as appropriate in China
Specific focus areas are:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as required.
Key business partner responsibility:
1) Identify & evaluate market size and potential for the D-R served segment. Initiate market research studies and analyze their findings.
2) Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategy for new products & solutions, based on AOP and LRP established objectives, market characteristics, and cost and price factors.
3) Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities to promote products, solutions and services, working with technical support team.
4) Coordinate with NE client facing team, select products and solutions to be displayed at trade or special production shows.
5) Coordinate and participate in promotional activities, trade shows and specific subject conferences to learn market trend, customer requirement in emerging segments, provide feedback to product/solution development team.
6) Advise business and other groups on local, national, and international factors affecting the buying and selling of products and services.
7) Establish and develop business relationships with business partners to maximize Dresser-Rand’s opportunities across all product lines.
8) Promotes D-R products & solutions, provides business development expertise and guidance to the regional teams.
9) Leads and delivers presentations to clients in conjunction with company goals and objectives.
10) Conducts business affairs with the highest standards of ethics and integrity. Works within the spirit of Company’s Code of Conduct and other policies.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION
Degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited higher education institution or equivalent work experience
EXPERIENCE
10+ years of marketing, sales or business development and/or experience with one or more of the following product lines:
? Centrifugal Compressors
? Reciprocating Compressors
? Steam Turbines
? Gas Turbines
? Gas Engines
? Expanders
? Axial Compressors
? Control systems for turbomachinery
SKILL/KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Must demonstrate/possess excellence in the following skill areas:
? Global awareness
? Confident and professional communication style, both written and oral
? Presentation skills appropriate for executive leadership and high level client contacts
? Client facing orientation– relationship building, attention to detail and tenacity
? Strategic thinking
? Computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
? Interpersonal skills enabling productive relationships with peers, superiors and others where formal reporting lines do not exist
? Multi-language skills & International experience a plus
TRAVEL
? Domestic and international travel is required
