Mission
This position is located in wiring harness section of EE department. The mission of this position is to develop wiring harness components (validation & approval) in line with PSA standard, develop suppliers and contribute to the team for wiring harness components aspect.
Major Responsibilities
? Develop wiring harness components (60%)
o Review and verify the components localization proposal from JV, harness maker, or components maker.
o Negotiate the localization proposal with French counterpart.
o Coordinate with supplier for validation test.
o Monitor validation test progress and push it to meet the project schedule.
o Review test report and solve the defect out of standard.
o Approve and officialize the components in system.

? Develop suppliers (15%)
o Search potential local supplier for China.
o Develop local component with the local supplier.
o Define localization strategy with JV & French counterpart and realize the strategy.

? Contribute to the team (25%)
o Animate regular meeting with French counterpart to exchange news and technical information.
o Be reference to wiring harness designer and EE device designer for components choice.
o Develop components innovation and apply new technology.
o Train the team for components choice.
o Solve the issue of components.
o Other tasks assigned by the manager.
Technical Skills
? Knowledge on wiring harness components: connectors, terminals, cables, protections, fixations.
? Development experience of connector and terminal is required.
? Work experience in connector makers is preferred.
? CATIA V5 skill is a plus.
