Location: Beijing, China

Position Description:

· Work within the Beijing office of Boeing (China) Company Ltd. and report to the Regional Finance Center in Hong Kong

· Focus on finance operations in China and work under minimum supervision

· Support the accuracy and integrity of the Company's overall collection and reporting of financial information

· Ensure compliance with various statutory and tax regulations in China, perform effective closing of the books, process standard financial and operational functions, and assist with special projects as they arise

· Take charge of the monthly closing of the accounting books in a timely and accurate manner, and ensure that it is in agreement with the published schedules and deadlines

· Prepare internal and external financial reports based on accounting information and data, in accordance with Company’s requirements and regulatory policies and procedures

· Comply with the responsibilities of the position by implementing local internal controls and procedures as required, and to reinforce compliance with corporate policies and procedures

· Participate in the implementation of the common finance and accounting system and processes

· Ensure continued successful transition to the new Accounting/Finance system

· Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements for reporting and tax purposes, and ensure adherence to US and local statutory compliance requirements

· Work closely with functional teams in Asia Pacific and the U.S.

· Achieve operational excellence through the standardization of policies and processes, in coordination with other functions (Accounting/ Finance/Tax)

· Support Boeing's overall finance and tax compliance in Asia

· Support Boeing's new businesses in their entry into the market

· Work closely with the Payment Service Center in the Asia region

· Work in a team setting to implement and execute Boeing's international initiatives

· Manage other duties as assigned by management – duties are subject to change per management requirements

Competencies:

· Advanced Degree or equivalent, with relevant certificates – CPA preferred

· Possess knowledge of Chinese Accounting Standards, PRC tax laws and regulations, US GAAP, and IFRS – experience in Flex Accounting System will be an advantage

· Possess at least 10 years’ relevant experience in Accounting and Financial Management, gained within a multinational company

· Posses experience of working with cross-functional teams, and within a diverse, changing, and growing business environment, along with the ability to work well in a teamwork environment

· Possess organizational and management skills, excellent judgment, extreme discretion, and flexibility in work hours

· Possess a proactive work approach and the ability to offer ideas and solutions in problem-solving situations

· Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills

· Possess an advanced level of oral and written communication skills in English

· Able to be a self-starter with a positive attitude, high ethics, and a track record of working successfully under pressure in a time-constrained environment

· Able to undertake occasional international travel

This job may be a Level 3 or Level 4 position, which will be determined by the level of experience and qualifications of the selected candidate, in relation to the scope and responsibility of the position.
