Salary

RMB1.2million per annum


Role

  • Directly report to Managing Director, Greater China
  • Offer an advisory role to plan, direct, implement and oversee the full spectrum of HR to cope with the needs from regional perspective
  • Build upon our foundational human resources process and content from a range of strategic and tactical skills including talent acquisition, retention, performance and reward management, succession planning, learning and development and talent management as well as HR policies and procedures
  • Support the business mobilization
  • Leading a highly committed HR teams in various business units in China to drive and achieve the business and departmental operating plan
  • Ensure the budget and KPIs are being met in align with the dynamic business in China


Job Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

  • Set up a regional policy on recruitment to ensure the HR teams in various business units in China to bring in the right people with the right competencies in align with the company’s competency framework and who have the right fit with the organization
  • Advise and build a strategic resource plan for the region that reflects the talent needs and lead programs to achieve business hiring needs
  • Assist in hiring senior managers and finalize the offer of employment of select candidates within the guidelines of group and regional policy
  • Lead the teams to comply with all Company procedures regarding budget and expenses requirement to ensures manpower planning and staffing are adequately support operation needs whilst controlling salaries and wages costs according to the approval matrix
  • Give advices and build up a good industrial or college partnership to raise and brand the company profile to sharpen the attractiveness of company image to facilitate identifying and sourcing qualified candidates
  • Collaborate with Asia Pacific HR regional office to maintain the effectiveness of recruitment by establishing or exploring various sourcing channel

Compensation and Benefits

  • Establish a regional policy on compensation and benefits to ensure the compliance from various business unit in China
  • Responsible to map out company strategic intent and align HR policy to reflect business needs and recommend compensation package with the budget control to ensure external competitiveness including conduct market survey, redesign and implementing new compensation and benefits programs to sustain the competitiveness in local talent market
  • Assist in developing and maintaining a human resource information system in the region that meets management information needs and keeps all data are the latest to comply with the statutory requirements.
  • Oversees payroll administration to ensure timely payment in China regional office
  • Organizational Development and Talent Management
  • Develop a regional policy on organizational development and talent management policy to ensure the compliance from various business unit in China
  • Partners with in-country senior management team to develop an understanding of their strategies, commitments and challenges, and works with leaders and managers to drive organization effectiveness and employee commitment
  • Communicate and executes talent system processes in the region, including commitment or KPIs setting, performance review, talent review, and career planning, driving client teams to successful completion and document submittal
  • Plan and implement succession planning by identifying employees with high potentials to build a series of strong talent pipelines of internal candidates in the region
  • Responsible for driving and launching the performance appraisal management system which includes talent review to ensure the people and skill inventory are in the place to cope with the business needs in the region
  • Executes all other HR processes from employee on boarding and orientation to exit interviews.
  • Analyzes processes and trends and makes recommendations for corrective action and continuous improvement in the region
  • Liaise with Leaders and HR Managers to develop a yearly training road and Academy plan to ensure in align with business objective and cost perspective
  • Develop and support the management trainee program in the region

Performance Appraisal and Reward System

  • Establish a regional policy on performance appraisal and reward system to ensure a compliance from various business unit in China
  • Regular review the effectiveness of the performance appraisal and reward system by giving advices to
  • HR teams to ensure the fairness and open in the Company

Employee Relations and Communication

  • Develop a regional policy on performance appraisal and reward system to ensure the compliance from various business unit in China
  • Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions and interpreting of HR policies and procedures
  • Review and advice on the action plan of Employee Satisfaction Survey, driving a healthy and open employee-employer climate driven by each business units in the region
  • Represents Company at HR related hearings and investigation in corporate level
  • Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues

HR Policies and Workplace Rule

  • Review and revise HR policies and procedures that adhere to the company’s vision and mission, employment law and legislations in pursuit of best HR practices
  • Responsible for reviewing HR and other related budget plan and cost control in the region
  • Verifies and analysis month-end reports to provide expert advices to the Management team on formulation and executing HR strategies
  • HR programs or lead ad hoc projects such as retention and staff well-being programs in the region
  • Updates of employee records and files, compiles custom reports and handles system back-up, if necessary, in China head office
  • Performs necessary administrative duties as required
  • Bring to senior management’s, local and Asia Pacific regional office, attention on any abnormal or significant incident, and propose the most appropriate solutions
  • Lead a HR team to achieve the departmental objectives and strategies
  • Attend regular meeting in both China and Asia Pacific


Job Requirements

  • Degree holder preferably in Human Resources Manager, training or any related disciplines
  • 12+ years HR experience including at least 3 years experience in similar capacity in sizable MNCs while experience in F&B, hospitality and retails is an advantage
  • A track record of successfully developing and implementing strategic initiatives as well as deploying innovative solutions in talent acquisition, organization development, retention and brand building programs that are essential
  • Knowledge of labour employment and compensation systems and issues
  • Good business acumen, industrial network, strategic ability and leadership skills with high level of integrity and initiatives
  • Demonstrate good stakeholder management, problem-solving and influencing skills as well as be able to communicate effective at all levels
  • Energetic, mature, meticulous, self-motivated and able to meet multiple deadlines
  • Frequent travel within the region is required
