Job Title: Senior UX Lead

Microsoft (China), China Cloud Innovation Center is looking for a veteran Design and Design Research leader to help envision and execute on Microsoft global experiences for IT professionals. Our partners include Windows Azure, Windows Server Essential, SQL Server, and Commerce Platform.

Successful candidates should have a solid understanding of the end-to-end design process, including information architecture, interaction design, research and usability, rapid prototyping, visual design, branding, and content creation. You are a well-rounded leader with strong work practices and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple workflows. You should have a track record of providing UX leadership to product teams and be able to easily insert yourself into an agile development process.

Primary responsibilities include:
- Lead a multi-discipline user experience team including both research and design functions
- Communicate, document, and represent design direction to team members, senior management and key stakeholders
- Ensure the experience vision is guided by business and market requirements, and driven by experience insights from user research
- Direct and develop design and research artifacts including scenarios, story boards, information architecture, wire frames, and interactive prototypes
- Work with product teams to ensure delivering high quality service product that are useful, usable, and desirable
Qualified candidates should have the following:
- At least 8 years of research and design experience including leading design teams through at least one full product development cycle
- Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills
- Have strong conceptualization and excellent problem solving skills, and ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
- Understand array of technical constraints, user goals and business requirements that shape customer-focused service products
- Demonstrate ability to work confidently with Program Management, Development, Product Planning, Brand, Marketing and Usability
- Proficient in CSS and HTML (HTML5 preferred)/Responsive design, and ability of creating interactive prototypes
- A minimum of a BA/BS degree in Design or Research; Interaction Design, Communication Design, Architecture, HCI, or equivalent degrees.
- Technical knowledge of server and/or database administration or networking is desirable but not required

　　与本地客户和技术社区保持密切互动在微软全球研发过程中至关重要。鉴于中国市场的重要性，服务器与开发工具事业部中国研发团队通过广泛交流,有组织地参与到本地生态系统和技术社区互动中：一）通过微软技术大会（TechEd）、MSDN和TechNet等微软技术网站与广大的本地开发人员和 IT专业人员交流；二）针对目标群体推出了微软技术先行计划(TAP)，微软最有价值专家(MVP)开放日、贵宾接待等特殊项目理解客户的需求；三）与相关原始设备制造商（OEM）、独立软件开发商（ISV）、系统集成商（SI）等合作伙伴开展深入互动。2010年9月，服务器与开发工具事业部中国研发团队组建了微软中国云计算创新中心（CCIC），全力以赴地支持合作伙伴和客户顺利运用微软Hyper-V和Azure云计算产品和技术。
