GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Under general supervision, works closely with customers to identify user's business requirements. Interprets business needs and translates them into system requirements. Writes business specifications and forwards to technical staff for system development. Acts as the conduit between a user group and an IT development team.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent;

EXPERIENCE:

· Minimum 3 years related experience

· Strong IT skills with Unix and Oracle database, proficient with SQL

· Good programming skills is preferred

· good written and verbal communication skills

· ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

· Familiarity with airline operation preferred

· Familiarity with airline crew management preferred

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Documentation: Enters, transcribes, records, stores or maintains information in written or electronic form . Operations Analysis: Analyzes needs and product requirements to create a design. Product Life Cycle: Working knowledge of phases of the product life cycle, including engineering specifications, customer requirements gathering, software design and development, testing - including unit, functional, systems and integration implementation/delivery and maintenance. Scientific Process: Applies the Scientific Process steps to question, research, hypothesize, test, formulate results, draw conclusions and implement a solution; understands appropriate tools, technologies and statistical/optimization models and techniques. Systems Analysis: Determines how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes, knowledge of products and system architecture .
