Job Title : Emissions & Fuel Economy Specialist
Department: JLR China Homologation & Regulations

Key Responsibilities

Focusing on the development of Chinese Homologation & Regulation Department, this position is responsible for:
Emissions & Fuel Economy specalist

MIIT Fuel Economy Database:
-Liaise with Logistics to obtain necessary information to populate Fuel Economy database.
-Part of team to develop JLR database that supports upload of data to MIIT database.
-Ensure database is populated in a timely manner and upload output from JLR database to MLIT database.

MEP Approval Number Database:
-Liaise with Logistics to obtain necessary information to populate MEP data sheets.
-Maintain existing links for approved vehicles / individual VIN.
-Create new links for new derivatives and emission extensions / Individual VIN.
-Ensure database is populated in a timely manner.
-Part of team to JLR Fuel Economy database to also cover MEP.

Prepare MEP & Beijing MEP Emissions documentation – and potentially for other cities in future e.g. Shanghai.

Assist with translation of documentation from English to Chinese and Chinese to English.


Skills, experience and qualifications required

-Degree in Automotive Engineering.
-Some experience in Automotive Industry an advantage but not essential.
-Above average computer skills, particularly regarding software packages – Excel, Access, etc.
-Fluent English both oral and written.
-Experience in report writing - very thorough and pays attention to detail
-Good team player with strong communication skills.
