Job Title: IT Application Support Expert-Retail System

Report to: IT Manager, APAC

Main Responsiblity:

Business Support/Anticipation
- The candidate will apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve system issues in order to maximize the benefit of existing Amer Sports IT systems investments.
- Ensure compatibility and interoperability of store systems
- Conduct research on hardware and software products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts.
- Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems.
- Support business user with data management

System Enhancement
- The candidate will assist in the planning, design, development, of new applications and enhancements to existing applications in Amer Sports POS and e-commerce IT environment.
o Create system design proposals
o Create systems models, specifications, diagrams and charts to provide direction to system programmers
- She/he will meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve business systems issues.
- She/he will review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
- Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions.
- Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems

Store Opening
- She/he will prepare and set up all IT software and hardware components for any new store opening

Needed competencies:

- Communication skills in both technical and user friendly language & Business Service orientation,
- Open minded, flexibility/adaptability and ability to accept and learn from criticism,
- Technical and analytical skills,
- Development language skills amongst php, java, sql, C++,
- Database skills amongst Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL,
- Teamwork ability in a matrix organization,
- Strongly motivated to work in a multicultural environment with travel occasionally

Education:

Bachelor degree or above, major in System Technology or related is preferred

Needed working experience:

- Preferred experience with POS systems
- Preferred experience with Engineer
- Previous experience in Retail / Ecommerce industry is a plus
