Point Grey Innovation Technology (Beijing) Inc is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Accountant – China. This individual will work out of our Beijing office and be the key liaison to our Headquarters in Canada for all things related to Accounting and Logistics. This position is ideal for a candidate who enjoys taking ownership of their work and becoming the expert in their functional area(s).

Responsibilities Include:

1) Perform Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable invoicing in multiple ERP systems

2) Ensure regulatory filings are complete and accurate

3) Perform Shipping/Receiving duties

4) Assist with Import/Export control

5) Communicate and liaise with Headquarters; provide regular reports

6) Maintain office filing system

7) Provide general support for operations as needed

8) Process payroll and ensure that employee benefits and deductions are compliant

9) Periodically visit Headquarters for training

Skills and Qualifications:

1) Post-secondary education in a relevant field

2) 3-5 years of similar work experience

3) A strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles in China

4) Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

5) Strong verbal and written English

6) Excellent communication skills

7) Problem solving skills, with an ability to know where to look for the answer
