JOB TITLE: Manager and Senior Consultant

Overview:

Business Performance Services focuses on aligning strategy, organisation, operations and supporting processes to help our clients achieve their growth and financial performance targets. We provide customized solutions to our clients to assist in making them successful players in their industries. Automotive advisory provides services to auto retailing, OEM, tier 1 & 2 suppliers.

Responsibilities:

The Manager role primarily involves the following:
? Participating in the rapid expansion of the BPS practice by contributing to the creation of effective business development and market expansion strategies in relation to auto OEM/Dealership operation transformation, performance optimization and supply footprint optimization, and overseeing the execution of these strategies
? Managing and developing important client relationships with major auto players
? Recruiting a team of experienced consultants to manage projects in the following priority areas:
o Business strategy (both manufacturing and retailing)
o Operation transformation (both manufacturing and retailing)
o Supply chain optimization and transformation
o Performance management/improvement
o Cost optimization
o Operational due diligence
? Managing the quality delivery of service results and follow up with client for satisfaction
? Managing resource allocation and optimization of resource utilization to ensure maximized performance of the team
? Managing alliance relationships with KPMG's key alliance partners in China/Asia Pacific

Qualifications:

? Experience in managing high impact, complex and analytically challenging projects in high-pressure, milestone-based environments
? An ability to interface with senior industry executives and strong formal presentation skills
? The Manager role requires a minimum of eight years experience in management consultancy, professional services advisory or with a blue chip industry company with demonstrable experience in one or more of the following priority areas:
Business Effectiveness
? Business Strategy and Planning
? Supply Chain & Supply Footprint Optimization
？ Working Capital Management
？ Business Integration & transformation
？ Business Process Improvement and Business Process Management
? Industry experience should include in-depth exposure in at least one of the following industries: manufacturing (automotive), auto retailing, auto component manufacturing, industrial markets like manufacturing of other durable goods, power & energy, and consumer goods. Candidates with depth in multiple industries will have an advantage.
? We require all candidates to have a flexible, creative and innovative approach to problem solving and possess strong interpersonal and communication skill.
? Fluency in both written and oral Mandarin (Putonghua) and English is required

The Senior Consultant role has similar scope of responsibilities, but focuses more on project delivery and requires 4-6 years of experience in management consultancy, professional services advisory or with a blue chip industry company
