Job description:
- Accountability for national sales target and achievement
- Retail and franchisee operations, good at clients’ management

Mindset and focus in terms of expectation for candidate to be hired:
Because of the business model (Wholly owned retail and Franchise where the brand principal bring to the Franchise partner a very advanced level of service (choice of location, in store design, collection Merchandising, Visual Merchandising , Customer Services and retail experience…) the candidate hired must have a very solid retail culture, experience and acumen:
- Not just to focus on Sell –in side of the business but look at all levels to increase and optimize sell-out and sell through
- Be able to re-enforce the branding, image, positioning by creating a rigorous retail experience for the end consumer (product merchandising, customer service experience, high quality of retail merchandising...)
The candidate will be expected to show a strong commitment when it comes to support and be able to create close relationship with Stores sales teams and direct reports as well as keen to spend time at the POS level to have a thorough understanding of the what is happening there and what needs to be improved.
Background profile of the ideal candidate:
- Solid and natural retail sense and acumen with an overall total number of experience if minimum 10 years
- Experience with sizeable organization in the fashion and apparel sector (casual wear, street/urban wear, active / sport wear) where the business sales model focuses more on retail / Franchisee model rather than purely basic wholesale (Sell in focus and limited control on retail and branding at the POS) (e.g.: Esprit, Timberland, Levis Strauss...) in sales and retail related functions
- Previous experience in handling sizable net works of POS) (at least 30-40 POS) that are growing at a fairly fast pace but not purely focusing in opening doors but also optimizing the sales performance and profitability of every doors
- To focus in expanding the POS network in major cities in East, Central and South regions) Experience working in Asia with ideally China experience. You shared that non PRC Asian candidate with no PRC experience but with Asia experience could also be considered. Candidate could come from out of China such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and with a strong will to learn and take on new challenge)
- Must be fluent in mandarin
- Must be open to adapt to the company culture and business model (flexibility)
Experience expected:
- More than 5 years in apparel or accessory industrial
- Experienced in international company or brand operation
- Marketing or Sales background, at least 10 years in the (assistant) manager level
