Main Responsible:

1.Build and maintain interactive reports for key activities such as month end closing and sales reporting.

2.Provide a timely and effective response to user queries by analyzing, investigating and fixing them as required

3.Actively own and maintain support documentation

4.Perform ‘root cause’ analysis of user issues, provide immediate workaround for critical problems

5.Design and implement SSIS packages for server maintenance, data transfer and cleaning, and other tasks

6.Assist developers in SQL query tuning

7.Ensure availability of applications as per agreed Service Level Expectations or requirements by monitoring applications, related jobs and resolving issues

8.Learn the application and the associated business functionality

9.Install and support MS SQL servers and databases -- SQL Server 2008 R2 and 2005

10.Performance and tuning of MS SQL server clusters.

11.Monitor MS SQL server clusters

12.Plan for and perform upgrades of MS SQL software

13.Develop strong relationship with the development and infrastructure support teams to resolve production issues in a timely manner

14.Ensure proper stakeholder communication and escalation as required

15.Good general awareness of Information Security policies and Technology Risk Management
