About the Position职位信息:
SUMMARY: This position is located in the CL&D department, and will be responsible for inventory integrity by maintaining highest possible degree of accuracy and quality of available and reserved products in order to provide optimum service levels while maximizing the profitability of the inventory. Also supervises the return goods function to ensure timely response to customers. Supervises one or more employees within the inventory department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
? Assigns, directs and monitors the cycle counting operations for counting, verifying, correcting and documenting the movement of all products into and out of the distribution center inventory to provide the best available inventory information. Cycle counts will be done on a daily basis, by location, unless otherwise directed.
? Assigns, directs and monitors returns operations to adhere to return policies, minimize the company's exposure on missing, inaccurate, or in-transit damaged product, insuring re-wrapped items are labeled correctly and scanned back into inventory.
? Daily duties will include maintaining inventory accuracy, monitoring location listing reports, finding errors with received merchandise & resolving them, and attaching available merchandise.
? Works closely with the team on problem solving, issue resolution, and process management.
? Researches missing items to find root cause and put checks in place to eliminate these errors
? Motivates employees to ensure that predetermined productivity and quality standards are achieved or exceeded.
? Recommends modifications or innovative ideas to Facility Operations Manager in order to improve inventory control procedures
? Helps to train new employees and inventory teams. Conducts performance evaluations for all direct reports.
? Prepares and submits daily and weekly reports.
? Ensures quality service is provided to customers.
? Daily staff management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
? Bachelor’s degree in a business or related field of study required. Master's degree preferred.
? AHRMM Certification in Materials and Resource Planning (CMRP) and/or APICS Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred.
? Experience working in inventory management required. Minimum 5-7 years professional experience, with minimum 3 years in Inventory Management and minimum 3 years supervision.
? Experience in in-house logistics / automotive industry is preferred.
? Strong interpersonal skills, good verbal and written communications skills are required for the successful management of this function.
? Demonstrates strong ability to prioritize work, excellent organizational skills and initiative to improve processes.
? Change agent demeanor. Must be a flexible thinker, with an ability to quickly adapt to a changing environment.
? Be familiar with a variety inventory concepts, practices and procedures.
? Proven ability to significantly contribute in a team environment and accomplish goals.
? Must have strong math and reading skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
? Noise levels are low to moderate in this area.
