职位描述
Minimum required knowledge & experience:
· University degree in education, communication, or education management. Master's degree an asset.
· At least 5 years experience in managing education related programs and conducting training.
· Has strong interests in working with education authorities, institutions & think tanks related to education, and the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
· Well versed on current education reforms and development in China, and education system at all levels.
· Has a wide network of people and organizations working on education programs in schools, including think tanks related to education.
· Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese. Korean an asset.
· Good verbal and written communication skills, excellent computer skills and web knowledge.
· Ability to travel throughout China or other countries covered by the delegation
· Independent, creative and a team player
Standard function description:
· Supports the Regional Advisor and eventually assumes the responsibility as the delegation focal point on all EHL* & Youth program.
· Participates in planning, coordinating and implementing existing EHL & Youth related programs with the Red Cross National Societies (NS's) covered by the regional delegation, particularly in China (including Macao & Hong Kong), and initiates new possibilities of developing the program in China.
· Networks with relevant education institutions & think tanks to explore the possibility of developing the EHL programm.
· Manages the financial aspects of EHL programs and fully involved in the annual program planning.
· Coordinates closely with the Cooperation Dept. regarding issues related to the NS, and the Communication Dept. for related issues regarding the program, particularly using on-line media.
· Supports the delegation in other major activities
