Compuware is looking for candidates for the next Professional Development Program (PDP) class which will be focused on graduating Gomez(TM) Solution Delivery Consultants for Gomez(TM) Guardian Services Roles.
A bright, technical, enthusiastic, degreed professional with excellent interpersonal skills will find this to be a challenging and rewarding opportunity! In this position you will work with Compuware’s leading edge Vantage(TM) technology, to deliver high-value services that are in heavy demand from Compuware’s large customer base. We are looking to add ambitious, positive, hard working, assertive members that are interested in joining a dynamic team of professionals that deliver Gomez(TM) Professional Services across North America (and Worldwide).
Compuware trained Delivery Consultants in Gomez(TM) will provide consultative support for administration, configuration, and maintenance of the implemented system. Compuware Delivery Consultants are trained in new release functionality and leverage a proven migration methodology to dramatically reduce time, effort and risk associated with major software upgrades.
To ensure new Delivery Consultants are sufficiently equipped for success, Compuware provides a structured PDP program that is a technical and business mix of classroom, self-study, and in-the-field observation activities. Upon graduation of the PDP program consultants are expected to represent Compuware in the highest professional manner, through written and oral communications, to ensure maximum client satisfaction for all engagements.
Responsibilities:
Represent Compuware as a product expert on the Gomez(TM) suite
Earn the confidence of customers as trusted advisor in Application Performance Management
Ensure effective monitoring of critical business applications at customer sites
Administer, Configure, Maintain, and Mature Gomez(TM) as it relates to customer needs
Maintain and enhance dashboards and reports to meet requirements of IT and business users
Help customers troubleshoot, profile, and predict application performance issues
Mentor and train customers on Gomez(TM) product and Best Practices
Assist sales team in identifying new opportunities for product and services at customer sites
Requirements:
Recently Degreed in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Information Systems
Ability to tackle complex application environments to provide customers with clear guidance on implementation strategy and potential performance improvements
Willingness to relocate and/or travel extensively across North America
Internship, Co-op and/or significant IT project based assignments while at university
Strong work ethic and a “Can Do” attitude
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Strong passion and desire to learn new technology
Solid presentation and writing skills and experience with creating professional reports and deliverables
Expertise in one or more of these key technologies is desirable
