Key Objectives:

·Senior Specialist Entire Vehicle Validation is responsible for independent testing and validation of China-specific vehicle systems, components, and characteristics. Related assignments are embedded in the BMW AG product development processes which begin 36 months before start of production (SOP) and continue after SOP through model year changes, rework, and product impulses until the end of production (EOP). Focus fields are customer related test procedures, BMW company strategy, BMW project goals, Chinese market requirements, and BMW sign-off processes.

·Independent feedback, analysis, and documentation of sign-off relevant issues at various “Milestones” of the product engineering & development process, with emphasis on Chinese-specific vehicles and Chinese customer habits, behavior, and point of views.

Major Responsibilities:

·Validation and Testing of China specific Vehicles in Accordance with BMW
and Test Standards and Procedures

·Analyzing and Reporting Test Results into BMW AG Engineering Tools and Processes

·Test Planning and Vehicle Preparation.

·Supporting BMW AG Engineering Partners and their China Related Activities

·Specification of new test vehicles for the Complete Vehicle Validation Team

Education / Degree:

·Bachelor or Master in Engineering.

Knowledge / Skills / Competences:

·Very good in spoken and written English

·Excellent driving skills and Safe vehicle control under all driving circumstances, driving license for at least 5 years

·Fundamental engineering and automotive experience especially in entire vehicle related issues

·Experience in automotive related processes and problem management

·Strategic and analytic thinking and acting

·Intercultural experience, feeling and competence

·Capable of working under stress

·General computer knowledge e.g. MS-Windows, MS-Office

Experience:

·1~3 years' long term experience in engineering, f.e. in development relevant topics

·1~3 years' automotive experience

·1~3 years' personal and team management experience welcome
