职位描述

Job Overview

As a member of the “local” [i.e. regional / area / functional] business leadership team, to contribute to the development of the local commercial strategy, and to deliver the local people plan in line with Business Stream strategy and direction; and working with Centres of Expertise and Regional HR Operations, including HR SSC, to implement these plans successfully.

Job Responsibilities

1. Strategic planning
- Contribute to the local business strategy and plan, as a member of the local leadership team;
- Accountable for the development and delivery of a people plan which supports the achievement of the local business strategy, in line with the overarching Business Stream people plan
- Work with Regional Centres of Expertise Regional HR Operations teams, including HR SSC, to ensure an effective overall HR offering;
- Accountable and responsible for managing strategic HR projects within business area, coordinating the activities of CoE and Regional HR Operations;

2. Organisational effectiveness
- Accountable/Responsible for supporting the Business on Organisational Design, reviewing effectiveness in line with the strategic planning process.
- Accountable/Responsible with Business Stream Head of HR and relevant business leaders, identify and defining any organisational development, re-structure or change management requirements locally, and engaging Centres of Expertise and Regional HR Operations to ensure change is implemented effectively;
- Accountable for contributing to activities to improve company’s EVP, employee experience and employee engagement within the Business Stream and responsible for reflecting this in Business Stream projects and programmes
- Lead the review and analysis of EOS results, and coach business managers in creating action plans to enhance employee engagement.

3. Resourcing
- Contribute to the Business Stream Resourcing strategy in line with the local people plan and workforce strategy.
- Responsible for workforce plans to ensure delivery of effective resources on time, in partnership with the Resourcing Centre of Expertise and Regional HR teams.
- With the regional Resourcing Centre of Expertise, undertake interviews for senior local resources.
- Accountable for the development and delivery of the workforce plan (Functional)

4. Performance Management
- Responsible for the creation of people / HR-related objectives with senior leadership teams, and monitoring the effective cascade of goals and objectives among leaders;
- Support leaders (supervisory and manager role) in the resolution of significant performance capability and/or development needs that may arise with senior management, brokering guidance as appropriate from the CoE .
- Responsible for the quality and consistency of local leaders’ performance management of their teams.

5. Capability development
- Responsible for supporting the line manager in the identification, development and delivery of the required technical capability in line with the business and people strategies;
- Responsible for professional competency requirements for the Business Stream are understood, and that development plans are sufficient to deliver them;
- Drive focus on the role of the line manager in improving employee engagement, and ensure people management skills are developed and maintained;
- Work with the Professional & Organisational Development Centre of Expertise (Group and Regional) to ensure the effective delivery of non-technical development;

6. Reward
- Work with the Reward Centre of Expertise to ensure effective employee pay and benefits progression within the Group Reward policy and contribute to the Business Reward Strategy;
- Responsible for ensuring there is appropriate local governance in line with the Group Reward Framework
- Calibrate moves, promotions and grades locally, to ensure consistency.

7. Talent Management
- Responsible for supporting line managers in succession planning, and driving the subsequent development actions for supervisory and above, ensuring a robust process is followed and sufficient talent is available to meet future business needs;
- Contribute local intelligence about talent, HiPo individuals, and international assignees, to the Business Stream Head of HR for inclusion in the global Business Stream talent management plan.

8 Mergers and Acquisitions
- Support integration activities on M&A projects as required, and participate in the planning & implementation of post-acquisition integration projects.

9. Regional HR Operations
- Responsible for ensuring that employees use the appropriate HR channels for advice and services;
- Support the delivery of HR services by working with Regional HR Operations and SSCs to identify and remove obstacles.

10. HR business partner and advisor to the local leadership
- Participate in the leadership of the local business as a member of the local leadership team;
- Act in a professional advisory capacity to leadership teams, offering guidance on organisation, people and HR matters, ensuring delivery of proactive HR support;
- Provide trusted one-to-one coaching to business leaders;
- Behave as a role model for change and performance improvement.
- Line management responsibility for local HRBP as appropriate

Job Requirements

1 Prior experience in a HR business partnering role handling Greater China or North East Asia
2 Tertiary qualification in HR or a related field and 7-10 years of in-depth experience as a generalist
3 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a multi-cultural environment
4 Demonstrated ability to develop and manage relationship and consult at a senior business level
5 Proficient in both spoken and written English
