• Provides complex, financial analysis for a financial function or a business
• Establishes and maintains relationships with business leaders to guide and influence decision-making within a limited scope.
• Provides analytic support to business initiatives, typically representing a sub-function within finance for a particular business.

Accounting Analyst
As an Accounting Analyst you will be following up on workflow messages, communicating with local organizations, solving problems, and carrying out month end close activities such as accrual booking and reconciliation. This will include providing managers and their businesses with vital financial services including audit and consultancy on processes, programs and projects, ensuring that everything is in line with hp financial policies and procedures. Your level of involvement will vary from preparing and presenting reports to delivering technical leadership for the design and implementation of major business programs with a significant impact on the company.
An Accounting Analyst provides the focal point for a wide spectrum of customer accounting transaction processing questions and assistance to a broad customer base for HP WW.

Qualifications
Education and Experience Required:
• First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
• Typically 4+ years of experience as a financial analyst.
• Typically experienced in more than one finance function.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Good business acumen.

- Facilitates solutions to transaction processing problems
- Administers the collection, maintenance, reporting, and presentation of account information
- Develop solutions to various accounting problems.
- Booking invoices according to company procedures
- Verifying accuracy of invoices
- Contacting internal and external partners
- Preparing reports in Excel
