职位描述
Responsibilities include:
Installed Base Management
· Build a detailed understanding of the installed base, knowing when contracts are due for renewal and for what value - Pipeline management.
· Conduct face to face renewal negotiations for strategic software support contracts.
· Develop and implement initiatives to increase sales, protect the installed base and develop additional services and licence leads.
· Be the focal point between software support team, the licence sales team and services sales, develop/localize training material and provide training for new processes or programs, be the escalation contact for process or tool issues which may impact sales effectiveness.
· Effective Customer escalation Management
· Assist the licence sales team in maximising support revenue by matching support services with customer requirements.
· Promotion and sale of proactive support to target customer and prospect list
· Pricing/Discount management
· Develop working relationship with Channel Partners and other HP divisions so that software support receives appropriate focus
· Monitor the order and revenue tracking process
· Participate in revenue forecasting as well as in 'bottom up' financial year planning
New business and up-sell opportunities
· Identify and close opportunities for:
o Return to Support (RTS)
o Proactive / Premier support
o Support uplift - from 9x5 to 24x7 support
· Work with the AP Installed Base Program Manager to design effective sales programs
Qualifications & Experience:
l At least 5 years of corporate IT sales experience and a proven track record of success
l Coordination and leadership of a team of sales professionals
l Demonstrated ability in achieving results across functional teams
l Strong presentation, sales, negotiation and influencing skills
l Excellent communication skills
l Independent/self starter
l Good team work / good relationship building
l Bachelor's (undergraduate) degree preferably in computer science or Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent experience
l Ability to travel
