Title: Senior/Principal Architect - Targeting and Personalization
Job Location: Beijing, PRC
Position Summary:

Do you like to be the part of the team building the most trafficked Internet destination?
Our Beijing Global R&D Center is fully owned and operated by United States based our company. We are seeking a Systems Architect, who wants to own the foundation platform of our global personalization systems. Our system is built on massive cloud computing software running on clusters containing thousands of nodes with petabytes of high-value data and serves billions of transactions every day. The individual must be dedicated to designing and improving system architecture, performance, capacity, stability, and security.
Key Responsibilities
? Architect highly reliable, scalable, extensible, maintainable, and operable next generation cloud based personalization platforms
? Work closely with the engineering, product management, and research teams in different geographical locations to define and architect features and fine tune performance metrics
? Help define and drive global architecture standards
Minimum Requirements
? Strong expertise in design and implementation of cloud based large scale systems
? Solid experience with object-oriented technologies, design patterns, and fault-tolerance engineering
? In-depth knowledge of OS/Unix internals including areas such as threading, IPC, and TCP/IP networking
? Solid background in high-performance engineering
? Practical experience in content/ads serving system and/or search engines
? Must have strong knowledge and keen interest in emerging tools and technologies
? Fluent oral English communication
? Precise written communication in Chinese and English
Preferred Job Qualifications
? MS in Computer Science or related field, Ph.D. is a plus
? 8+ years experience in commercial software development
? 4+ years of technical leadership with architect responsibilities
? Experience in machine learning algorithms, statistical methods on cloud computing platforms
? Familiarity with information retrieval techniques
