JOB DESCRIPTION
Dept. Name: FLIT Unit:Tax, Treasury and Financial Planning and Analysis ("FA')
Job title: Senior Tax Specialist
Job content (purpose of the job) Stipulated % of total
Key areas of responsibility:
? Support in an effective tax function to assure value creation, risk management and compliance for our company Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (i.e. including our TP/FPTJ), our ST, TW and HK
? Ad hoc projects
Main job tasks:
Support in an effective tax function to assure value creation, risk management and compliance for our company (i.e. including TP/FPTJ), ST, TW and HK:
? Transfer Pricing
? Define annual transfer pricing re related party transactions, e.g. import price and export price by our company , service charge, etc. Perform periodical review (AB, RE2, LE, REA) to assure that our company (both production and sales), or our companies operating in China, maintain operating margins in line with our group's overall strategy
? Ensure all inter-company agreements are updated and valid
? Design transfer pricing reporting guideline and continuously to optimize the process to improve efficiency
? Support bilateral Advanced Pricing Agreement ("BAPA') Project to avoid double taxation by China and DK:
? Design and perform analysis/test (i.e. supply chain, drug pricing, medical trial) to defend our company position
? Challenge or justify the analysis or other documentation performed by other 3 parties.
? Tax Reporting and Filing
? Responsible for periodical tax reporting required by Corporate Tax, e.g. Transfer Pricing Questionnaire, Tax questionnaire and Tax risk reporting.
? Our company annual deferred tax preparation and annual company income tax filing.
? Technical expert
? Lead the weekly tax update and impact analysis, to find tax planning opportunity accordingly
? Lead the sharing and discussion among China Region tax team to enhance the team's competency
? Provide tax advice to China region other affiliates, e.g. HK, TW, our ST, our IT TJ, E TJ.
? Projects to minimize the business risk or bring extra value to the business
? New product launch
? Ex our price setting: Responsible for import price of the new product, to assure early launch and no surprise
? Business model setup, i.e. import or repackaging
? Price Review by the government: Assure accurate, consistent and timely delivery by years for sensitive information submission
? Lead NDRC annual price review
? Provide professional comment re pricing bureau's query
? Annually Region China organization structure review (i.e. holding company setup, distribution license, etc.)
