Role Summary/Purpose

Service Engineering of CardioVascular business in China is seeking one engineer in its location of Beijing, China

Essential Responsibilities

• Own product and subsystem requirements related to serviceability and diagnosis • Define procedures and strategy for field modifications, calibrations, and part replacements • Own Validation of the Service Design, Internal and External Validation, Feedback Processes and Results, and Service Documentation • Drive Service Design & Service System Level Requirements • Drive Field Deployment Readiness in the specifications, design and documentation (Training, Install, FRUs, and Warranty Targets) • Identify opportunities to improve design quality in new design based on field quality feedback and user needs collection. • Review and do verification/Validation work for newly designed products. • Train Field Service Engineers • Maintain effective quality systems compliance with GE Quality policies and Six Sigma standards

Qualifications/Requirements

•Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics, Electromechanical Engineering/Computer Science, or Bio-medical Engineering • Experience working in a Service or Systems Engineering team• Strong analytical, trouble-shooting skills• Ability to work independently• Customer orientation: self-motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently and learn quickly• Customer focused: strong interpersonal skills, ability to listen to customer, build relationships, and work under pressure• General project leadership skills• Design For Reliability (DFR) or Design For Service (DFS) experience• Good Communications and proficient written and Spoken English.• Team player with boundless spirit
