Job Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the development and implementation of software that will integrate the company’s audio and video technology with media players running on multiple platforms

- Understand and enforce rigorous “best practice” software architecture, planning, and development, as well as ensure high quality standards

- Contribute to the creation or adoption of new technology

- Produce specifications and documentation to accompany engineering deliverables

Job Requirements:

- B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field

- 3+ years of experience in mobile handset application development (C/C++/Java), with experience in Android application development, Android multimedia framework StageFright and OpenMAX component, Android Audio system and post-processing, PC/Mac multimedia application development, or underlying technologies (e.g. DirectShow, GStreamer, Core Audio, etc) a plus

- Strong object-oriented software design skills

- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English

- High level of written and verbal communication proficiency in both general and technology-specific applications
