Job Description:
1. Participate customer’s project HW designs
2. Review customer HW schematic, PCB layout for alternative part replacement
3. Customer HW problem debugging and follow up
4. Working with SW together for alternative parts verification and testing
5. Create verification report
6. In this role, you will work closely with the platform HW design team and SW team as well as other design groups across a variety of products and technologies within the company.
7. Familiar with variant components verification process is required;
8. Mater degree is a plus.

Job Requirements:
1. BS in Electrical, Electronic, or Communication Engineering is required. MS in Electrical, Electronic, or Communication Engineering is preferred.
2. Must have experience in baseband design for cellular handsets for volume production, and specialized in one or more of the following areas: memory , interface connectors, cameras, LCD, sockets, and others. Experience in memory qualification, signal testing, troubleshooting skill is highly desired. Experience in variant component qualification is a plus.
3. 6 or more years of experience in HW design and development.
4. Must have experience in developing specifications, application notes and test plans/reports for the product design or customization. Must be hands-on using the lab equipment for board rework and investigation.
5. Understanding of wireless standards (GSM, GPRS, EGPRS/EDGE and WCDMA) is desirable.
6. Previous RF design, development or testing experience with mobile or wireless products is a big plus.
