Position Summary:
Focus of the EPM China Commercial Manager is to plan, direct, and monitor the activities of EPM China commercial team to achieve or exceed the established sales revenue targets and provide high-efficiency product service to meet customer needs. This position carries a sales quota in China.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop the STRAP planning, market development strategies and implementations, target on 3-5 years sustainable growth of China business on EPM.
- Manage the day-to-day activities of commercial team in order to implement the organization’s overall sales strategy. Ensures that the sales plan and sales activities are consistent with overall business goals.
- Monitor the performance and work with the sales teams and re-allocate resources to improve overall results. Provides realistic sales forecasts to management and communicates any significant changes or developments.
- Contribute to the development of sales, marketing, customer retention, pricing, and distribution strategies for EPM China.
- Owns EPM China P&L: drive EBITA growth and improve cash flow.
- Manage sales forecast on a weekly basis, as well as ensure other related business reports be managed in time. Achieve bookings, revenue and profitability goals for the business consistent with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
- Develop China EPM cost/revenue component of the AOP, as well as updated sales and costs projections to support routine sales forecast updates, SIOP and other internal business processes.
- Manage technical support function to provide high-quality and responsive assistance to customers related to instrument applications, system configurations, specifications, etc.
- Coordinate and oversee project management and systems configuration, integration, and commissioning activities, to ensure quality, timely, and cost-effective results.
- Manage the application team to develop best solution for the customers. Closely working with overseas factory to further understand customer needs, address customer concerns and develop product to meet customer demand.
- Work closely with service team to provide high quality service to the customers
- Work closely with China Technology Center to develop product for China market needs.
- Ensure good result of CAS within EPM team.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: (Bullets)
- Bachelor degree in environmental/engineering required; MBA preferred.
- Five to eight years experience as Commercial Manager or General Manager for a local Chinese capital equipment sales and service company.
- 8 years experience working for a multinational company in China.
- Excellent Chinese and English oral and written communications skills.
- Good business/financial management skills.
- Very high level of personal and professional integrity and ethics.
- Willingness to travel across the China
