Software Development Engineer
Roles &Responsibilities:
- Hands-on software development experiences in C#/C++/C
- Work together with PM and QA to build high quality products on schedule.
- Design and implement feature code in VisiDB productscodebase.
- Collaborate with other feature teams to integrate your features into VisiDB products.
- Writes unit test and fully leverages the automatable system for a feature
-Identifies risks and dependencies in the schedule for a feature
- Has code reviews with other developers to surface design and implementation issues
Qualifications:
- A BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field, PhD is a strong plus
- 3+ years of development experience on a commercial software product.
- Experience in designing, developing and shipping high quality software systems and services
- Preferred on rich development experience on networking, performance tune-up, or data mining and on C#/C++/C
- Ability to quickly understand new technology and applications
- Solid background on data structure and algorithm design and implementation.
- Excellent problem solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, written communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment are very important.
- You should be self-motivated and self-directed.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Chinese are necessary.
