职位描述
Position : Applications Support Engineer
Report To: Asia Sales Director
Location: Shanghai China
Responsibility:
1）Answers customer inquiries and aids customers, sales reps and distributors in the selection of products, application tools/methods and materials.
2） Assists customers with engineering calculations.
3）Advises customers with product and tool problems, handles customer complaints in these areas. Evaluates warranty and tool repair problems.
4）Owns the Gast/Jun-Air brand CIP’s and their conclusion to required timescales.
5）Involved as part of team on all new product launches to Asia.
6）Acts as a central hub for all product changes and relay all product issues between Gast US Engineering and the Sales Team.
7）Participates in trade shows.
8）Travels to assist Regional Sales Managers in closing New Business Opportunities (NBO) actions and diagnosis field/customer issues.
9）Suggests new market/product opportunity sectors to Sales Team based on knowledge.
10）Helps to develop special products.
11）Establishing specifications/cost calculations for new products.
12）Occasional quotations & Maintains a file of applications data.
13）Helps with the creation of new sales literature and operations and maintenance manuals.
14）Keeps the Sales Directors in Asia, Europe, and US apprised of problems with customers, distributors, sales reps and customer service representatives.
Requirements:
1）Very strong technical aptitude and working knowledge of pneumatics/hydraulics
2）Strong interpersonal skills and customer relations.
3）Demonstrated problem solving skills with technical products.
4）Commercial/cost building capability.
5）Technical/Engineering Degree
6）Solid English language skills (verbal/written)
