职位描述

Job Summary
Maintain compliance and ensure a safe and effective work environment. Develop and execute long term facilities plans and projects to support the business needs across facilities. The EHS Manager will plan and provide oversight (or work with the applicable departments or contractors) of the routine and emergency maintenance of all equipment and systems used in the operation of the facilities. The EHS Manager also serves as a member on the Safety Committee. The EHS Manager will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all environmental, health and safety requirements and facility compliance with local building and fire codes.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
? Develop, communicate and implement specific environmental and safety strategies, goals, and objectives to improve operational performance as measured by cost, service and quality.
? Implement strategic facility initiatives in order to minimize service issues and improve the company’s safety and environmental standards and regulations.
? Negotiate and manage internal compliance to all Divisional and Facilities contracts to include building and grounds maintenance, utilities and other services as directed.
? Develop, communicate and lead all facility projects addressing facility expansions, building and grounds improvements, and departmental layout optimizations.
? Reviews facilities compliance to regulatory guidelines for all facilities. Additionally, the EHS manager will develop and implement the necessary plans to ensure full compliance and immediate response to any findings.
? Interfaces with Corporate EHS and Corporate Insurers to review facility compliance to all standards. Develops, and implements any necessary responses/corrective actions identified through the audits.
? Interfaces with Corporate Facilities and Real Estate for all lease needs and other miscellaneous needs.
? Interfaces with Corporate Risk Management to ensure all insurance requirements are being met.
? Redesigns facilities business processes to improve overall facility management.
? Direct and supervise the work activities of staff members.

? Expected Areas of Competence (KSA's)
? Bilingual Chinese and English language.
? Building and Grounds maintenance/Facility Management.
? Contract Negotiation and Management.
? Able to build strong relationships with both internal and external organizations; including employees, contractors and other support groups worldwide.
? Ability to prioritize the use of resources to most effectively achieved business goals.
? Able to remain calm under pressure.
? Understanding and maintain compliance with Local/State permits for air, water, waste, spills, safety and hazardous material transportation and disposal.
? Ensure compliant waste disposal.
? Report chemical or chemical usage / storage as required by law.
? Reporting of chemical spills to local authorities and to corporate.
? Provide CPR/First Aid/AED training to safety committee members
? Arrange and monitor required work-related health screening (Hearing conservation, eye checks, employee health screenings, etc.)
? Provide training for all employees, such as: Proper lifting, Blood borne Pathogen, Job Hazard Analysis, and Evacuations
? Conduct required Incident and Accident Investigations
? Report our safety status to State Bureau as required by law
? Recommend Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
? Serve as Point of Contact with State Safety Bureau
? Provide internal auditing system to ensure compliance
? Maintain Emergency Response/Business Recovery Plans
? Serve as Point of Contact with our insurance company and insurance audits
? Maintain and update our Disaster recovery and business continuity plans
Education/Experience Requirements
Education/Experience Requirements-
? Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Management or a Facilities related field required along with 8 Years of Facilities management and/or EHS experience.
Skill Requirements-
? Complete knowledge of health, safety and environmental standards and regulations. Must have ability to problem-solve, research solution, and interface with contractors/outside service providers.
Licenses/Certifications-
? Safety Engineer certification is preferred.
