Main Responsibilities:

1.Supervise 1 IT auditor;

2.Work with Chennai-based Managers and other global ITAS Managers to develop and maintain an effectively resourced audit plan;

3.Perform and lead technical reviews in the areas of Corporate IT infrastructure (i.e. operating systems, e-mail, database technologies, network, data center, e-commerce, intranet, extranet) as well as IT processes;

4.Participate in special studies, benchmarking and prevention reviews in emerging systems technologies and policies;

5.Act as a liaison between the GAO and IT management on audit matters including corrective action follow up, controls awareness and forthcoming reviews;

6.Participate in Corporate initiatives and committees which involve system controls and systems security related matters;

7.Liaise with IT to understand application and infrastructure cycle plans and use this information in the development of future business plans;

8.Approximately 30 to 35 weeks travelling (including around 15 travelling weeks overseas) is required with assignments throughout the AP Region, including Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, as well as the possibility of travel to Europe and North America.

Main Requirements:
1.Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Management Information System and other relevant major

2.Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) Optional
3.At least 6 years IT experience with a minimum of 2 years IT auditing or security and controls related roles, and 2 years minimum supervisory experience;
4.Working experience in both large multinationals and professional accounting firms is a plus but not mandatory requirement;
5.Strong communication skills (fluent English) – both written and verbal. The role is responsible for writing communications and reports that need to be concise and factually accurate, which will be read to all levels of senior management, potentially including the CEO;
6.Highly motivated and able to prioritize multiple tasks;
7.Familiar with standard business software applications including Microsoft word, excel and PowerPoint;
8.Knowledge on IT Security and Controls, IT Governance, Risk management. Technical knowledge on Application, Networks, Databases, Operating Systems and other infrastructure. Understand manufacturing process in general. Basic accounting knowledge is a plus.
