1 Introduction
The mission of the Regional Engagement Manager is to enable IP and Broadband business growth by enhancing communication, providing alignment and improving support between DUIB/PAIB and Regions.

2 Role Description
2.1 Scope
The Regional Engagement Managers report to the Head of DUIB S&RE PIDS & TSS.
The Regional Engagement Manager will represent the DU in the communication with the region and secure that the regions get best possible information and support for “into service” as well as “in service” from the DU.
The Regional Engagement Manager will make sure that we have a clear feedback loop for information and improvements from the regions.
The Regional Engagement Manager will also work together with other DU’ and BUGS to drive cross DU and BUGS initiatives that will improve customer satisfaction and product perception.
The Regional Engagement Manager role does not take over any existing role, channels or setups. The requirements flow, PLM, and Support shall work as before.

2.2 Responsibilities
Represent the DU in the interaction with Regions as the DU’s interface for ‘into service’ and ‘in service’ - mainly interfacing the Regions’ Operations and Support organization.
Take lead of critical escalations on BU/DU/PDU level, empowering the standard escalation processes within the DU and PDUs.
Drive a proactive engagement approach with the aim at avoiding critical customer situations.
Drive the “customer reality” feedback loop from the Region/CUs toward the DU.
Drive key customer reviews, assess customer feedback, Ericsson performance, and implement corrective actions in cooperation with Region, BUGS, PAIB and DUIB.
Participate in Region/CU business decisions and DUIB related commitments to customers, to ensure awareness within the DUIB organization of decisions and related risks.
Participate and/or drive internal DU, DU-BUGS, DU-to-DU initiatives that address customer satisfaction
Participate in Region/BUGS competence assessments and drive DU/PDU support for the related competence build-up strategies.

Qualifications


Excellent understanding of the back-end processes within Ericsson R&D and how they relate to sales and delivery processes in the business units, the regional operations teams, and the local customer unit delivery projects.
Management experience from positions on PDU or DU level/proven leadership skills.
Strong presentation and communications skills, and a pro-active and outgoing profile.
Strong individual drive in combination with customer focus and interest in exploring new areas.
A genuine technical interest and an ability to motivate and lead people. Knowledge of the Ericsson’s IP and broadband portfolio is an advantage but not a prerequisite.
