Job Summary:


Generate Material Requirement Plan based on the sales forecast under general supervision, ensure reasonable stock availability, maintain lead-time credibility and control non-working inventory percentage



Responsibilities:


Review material supply and ensure stable supply with consideration to purchasing lead time and establish safety stock if necessary
Work closely with Purchasing, Production and other related departments to meet demand
Providing material planning expertise to facility functions in support of improving demand variability, forecast credibility and usability for production planning
Quickly reflecting and solving the emergency case, hold the suppliers accountable for their performance
Inventory management and analysis; control the inventory at a reasonable level
Manage relative activities of planning, scheduling, controlling and improving to guarantee the implementation of the production plan for production lines
Conduct activity to guarantee the production lead time, optimize the available resources and productive process
Join continuous improvement project for whole department

Basic Qualifications:


University or above with bachelor degree, Logistics or related fields such as industrial engineering will be preferred
At least 5 years working experience about material planning experience in multi-national companies, around 2 years management experience
Self-starter with demonstrated leadership and good management/teamwork skills
ERP System experience, for example SAP
Good skill of analytical and problem solving ability and experience where problems are complex
Well developed oral and written communication skills
Fluent in spoken and written English


Preferred Qualifications:


Experience in handling multiple, often complex projects simultaneously
IT knowledge and practical experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access) and SAP
Aptitude to deal positively when working under pressure
