Role Summary/Purpose
The GE Water & Process Technologies Wu Xi manufacturing site is one of the major manufacturing facilities in GE Water, the IT System Administrator is responsible for identifying IT and business requirements, delivering IT solutions and detailed execution plans.

Essential Responsibilities
? Act as IT technical leader for the site, work closely with Water global IT technical teams to provide technical expertise for infrastructure support, capacity planning and quality enhancement, ? Manage site IT assets. Partner with Corporate EUS team to manage PC assets and support. ? Work with business for IT financial process. Monitor and control site level IT spending, identify cost saving opportunities and drive actual cost savings. ? Manage IT equipment purchase and leasing, work closely with sourcing team to optimize IT indirect sourcing process and reduce IT sourcing cycle time. ? Support site expansion, office relocation/migration IT infrastructure delivery, IT equipment installation, network redesign/upgrade. ? Act as escalation point for site users for client service, network, server issues and potential security concerns, work with support team and network, security team to close the issues. ? Build relationship, support and connect with site business leaders and function teams to optimize IT infrastructure foundation and execute IT solutions that supports the site growth. ? Provide and facilitate IT training services. Publish regular IT newsletter with tips of IT tools.

Qualifications/Requirements
? 4+ years of working experience w/ 2+ years with Manufacturing and/or Supply Chain industry.? Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or other related technical field ? Proven ability to work under pressure and challenging conditions. Able to work in a highly-matrixed environment and work closely with global teams across continents and time zones.? Highly motivated individual with outstanding communication, interpersonal skills. Fluent in Mandarin and English? Ability to evaluate decisions through the eyes of the customer, builds strong customer relationships and create processes from customer’s viewpoint.? Experience in infrastructure support, e.g. network, telecom, server, etc.? Experience with ERP support and previous exposure to SAP is preferred. Experience of MES (Manufacturing Execution System) implementation or support is nice to have.? 6 Sigma Green Belt or Six Sigma Certification is preferred.
