职位描述
Purpose & general responsibilities of the position:
Manage, supervise and provide leadership for all aspects of the Sales Department activities in company, driving implementation of commercial and operational strategies across products and clients. Lead and manage sales activities in cluster offices.
Ensure constant evolution of both business and the people in the Sales Department, with a strong foundation in APMM group values.
Ensure delivery of the company sales strategies in Cluster Branches.
Ensure organizational scalability to enable continued fast growth in company.
Develop the sales area within the cluster targeting all areas where we do not yet have either sales representatives and/or offices.
Specific responsibilities of the position:
Management
Reinforce APMM culture, values and reputation, and ensure compliance with APMM Group policies – lead by example
Provide clear direction and lead all company sales activities in Branch through the establishment and execution of a solid Branch-level Milestone Plan and sales pipeline reports
Provide input to and challenge the NAS company strategies, objectives and all their key elements
? Develop recommendation for branch company strategy, strategic plan, budgets and targets to the Branch Manager of company supporting product specific profitability and ensuring alignment with company and group strategy
As member of the company Branch Management Team, contribute with
? Candid, direct and honest input, suggestions and feedback to strategy and management decisions
? Development of strategies, objectives, etc for NAS company organization in general and the branch in particular
? Growing and maintaining a strong team spirit in the management team
? Based on a continuous improvement principle ensure a constant development of sales and operational processes, that processes are optimized and that best practices are actively promoted in NAS and with support from NAS management team promoted globally.
Provide world-class leadership on company throughout the Sales organisation in particular and the branch in general
Ensure optimisation across teams in company Xiamen Branch.
Human Resources
? Build a world-class management team by recruiting and retaining sales talent, as required by business
? Implement best practices, policies, guidelines and standards for company in Area and provide input to development of same to the Branch Manager of company
? Recommend appointments and dismissals of own direct reports to the Branch Manager of company
? Manage structure and staff the company Sales Department according to business needs and objectives, including meeting organization constellation targets.
? Organize, coach, challenge, develop and remunerate all direct reports
? Create development plans for all direct reports and key people in the Sales Department. Ensure that this approach is being implemented on all levels in the branches.
? Ensure high performers and top talents are sufficiently recognized and rewarded - psychologically and financially.
Sales
Define the sales strategy for the local market
Drive the sales pipeline for the office and the development areas
Ensure Sales targets are met through a robust sales plan, SMART targets and sales resources.
Lead and develop a resourceful and strong sales team able to deliver on targets with development potential. Promote and market the company brand
Actively drive localized sales making it a competitive advantage towards our international competition
Provide regular updates on market conditions and provide anticipated developments for same in order to promote proactive market approach.
Work closely with overseas to leverage network and help to develop company a truly network forwarder
Business Development
Establish sales development plans for the area
Actively support the set-up of sales staff in the area where we do not have offices upon business need.
Customer Service
Proactively interact with all clients, vendors and destinations to demonstrate our service is best value for money
Ensure proper CUS related risk management plans are in place and executed when circumstances dictates.
Keep the customer in the centre of what we do
Finance
Constantly optimise Branch profitability and deliver financial objectives incl. increased VAS sales and reduction of variable and fixed costs
Monitor operating performance against targets; ensure full year estimates for the Branch are updated regularly, and developments of significance are reported
Initiate remedial actions as necessary and timely to achieve relevant impact
Manage account receivables for the Branch and ensure adherence to corporate/global credit policies. Always strive to minimise credit days and outstanding.
Establish relevant and sufficient procedures between the Finance and company Sales organisation to enable effective cost and income control.
