Caterpillar has exciting opportunities for accountants who want to be challenged, are mobile and are interested in progressing through a number of staff and supervisory assignments. This Experienced Business Analyst position will work independently performing staff level accounting functions that develop and provide cost, business analysis and financial counsel on more complex business issues which could include:

Compiling and analyzing data to develop specialized reporting to make and/or influence business decisions
Identifying relevant product-related data and providing feedback
Making front-line decisions related to product cost
Investment analysis
Product Line Profitability (PLP) reporting
You will have the opportunity to become one of our future business leaders. You will be in a position to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as high levels of leadership and initiative.

Required Qualifications:

4 year Degree, preferably in accounting. Non-accounting degree requires a minimum of 18 hours accounting coursework
Willingness to relocate and be mobile minded
Excellent Initiative, Communication, Leadership and Interpersonal skills


Desired Qualifications:

5 to 6 years of accounting experience, preferably at a large public accounting firm or Fortune 500 company
Professional Certification (CPA, CMA or International Equivalent)
MBA or Masters Degree in Accounting (or International Equivalent)
