The Company:
Our client is an international group of companies with more than 5.000 employees worldwide. The largest business division is the automotive sector. The factories throughout the world develop and produce textile component systems for the automobile industry. In China our German client operates with a 50:50 joint venture partner, based in Ningbo. For this new joint venture we are looking for a senior finance manager to act as Vice General Manager.
Your Mission and Task:
You will be the right hand for the General Manager of the joint venture company in Ningbo province by providing consultative support for all financial planning initiatives. Your mission is to oversee the whole financial management, accounting and controlling of the joint venture. Also, you shall bring the finance organization beyond a purely operational level by adding your strategic/entrepreneurial value increasingly over time. The key tasks will include: regular financial reporting to top management and the implementation and enhancement of financial reporting system. Your strong leadership is required to develop the finance team members further to be able to handle specific tasks independently.
Your Profile:
You have more than 8 years working experience in finance and at least 3 years as finance manager in a foreign company, ideally a joint venture set up. You are familiar with Chinese and International (German preferable) accounting standards and related accounting principles, tax and audit regulations and policies. Your strong entrepreneurial mind-set combined with your pro-activeness make you the right fit for this position. Ideally you have experience with the setup of an ERP system (SAP preferable) in your previous company. Fluency in both mandarin and English is mandatory to be an excellent communicator across all levels.
